Friday the 12th

Suppose 12th should be something good, however, bad things still happened to me no matter what.

First of all, I was supposed to meet "someone" in Newark(my school's town) today. It was raining out there, tho not so heavy. I didn't bring an umbrella and walked to the meeting point with my ~2.5kg laptop in my bag. It was such a sloppy run that half of my body gone wet. The shoes were filled with water and I felt like stepping on soil. Not long after I got to the point, you fuking chick called me and said its rainy and your not comin. I'm so damn pissed....

The rest of the day seems "OK" but the humid air just make me so uncomfortable (and thx to someone, i'm wet throughout), unit I got out of class and went to parking deck.

I got in the elevator as usual. Then I realised I forgot which floor my car was on while I tried to press the button. Starting from 5th floor, I pressed the alarm button on the car key, hoping I could find out where my car was. 5, 6, 7, I could hear the sound but couldn't locate my car. Then I searched around each floor starting from 7th and finally I saw a grey BMW Z4, which was the one I noticed in the morning, on 5th floor, then I found my car not far away from that......

Get in my car, start the engine, get out of the parking deck, get on I-280 and head home. Rain wasn't heavy but road was slippery. At the last turn till my home's street (it was going down slope and my tires are almost over), I slipped, like what you see in Initial-D. My car turned ~120+ degree, ABS sounding crazily, luckily no car was around me and I was able to control my car after a full stop......

Its time to change tires. Looking at costco's flyers right now. The Michelins looks awesome.

新RAM +HS 入手

入手了新ram+Heatsink
說實的真的不太喜歡OCZ.....
但很平....DDR2-800 2*1GB才$20
Heatsink 加起運費也是$20

雖然平~但也不太差啊
至少cpu 很涼，full load 才62度c上下
ram 也上得到1000的~
餘下只要降壓就大功告成了~

Chrome test +FF/IE/Safari

Chrome 是Google 最新出的Browser，好奇下了來"測試"

整體來說，FF 還是最好，CHROME 用WEBKITE 核心，速度，RESOURCE 控制也很不錯，最好是一TAB一EXE 的設計，一TAB死了不會影響別的，interface 個人不太喜歡把東西收起來找，FILE/EDIT/VIEW 對我來說是一定要的....
最吸引的大概是WEB OFFICE，現在有CHROME 才軟件接橋，大可把GOOGLE "OFFICE" 預設成DEFAULT BOOKMARK。

二千里長征

話說堂哥婚禮後，幾家人一行十九人北上加拿大，分三車前往。大伯摷一輛租來的KIA Sedona 七人van，三伯一輛DODGE Caravan，我跟家父摷Toyota Camry。

不明原因的關係~GOOGLE MAPS 小圖看不到路線，想看的按下去看大圖吧~

由大伯家出發，經Pennsylvinia 跟New York 洲，去加拿大邊境，過境後就去鼎鼎大名的Niagara Falls
停留一會，影影相後，又要出發~因為要去趕去吃飯嘛!
去Toronto!吃飯後停了一晚，另一天出發去CN Tower!
又要趕緊出發，今次去Montreal唐人街!
上酒店，另一天又出發= =(好忙呢)今次是去old Quebec, 好有藝術氣息那裡(其實還不只是旅遊點)，還有去Saint Joseph Church.....還有賭場0.0
再住一晚~就回家了

人生路不熟
US-> NIAGARA FALLS，一路順利~沒錯路~只是半路有陣雨(還下得很大的，但只幾分鐘，問題不大)
去Toronto 問題就來了~這段路在google map 只稍稍看過，全靠GPS 帶路~問題在於我那弱力GPS經常hang 機，而且指示有時不甚清晰，以致有混亂的情況發生。
Toronto-> CN Tower/Montreal 的情況也類似，什至更糟!google map 完完全全沒看過，GPS 也不生性時不時hang，錯了幾次路
入到QUEBEC，更更更糟!!!路牌上開始多了些小蛇/小蟲的樣子，EST/SUD/OUEST/NORD，越來越多Français，我手心也越來越多汗....
P.S.在CANADA 某段路，雨下個不停，水撥開至最快也不夠，四方車子一輛輛開死火燈入SHOULDER，能見度近0，三車都沒事實在大幸。
P.P.S.在大雨中，有四車連橫相撞，加拿大警察把Highway 4線封至1線，真是GJ~

美國佬的好野
另外~加拿大的路，走起來，總不夠得心應手，似乎又不是法文的問題，也許是公路設計，但又看不出什麼特別差，但就是不如意順心的說，說公路網，美國的可說是最好了~

加拿大的POLICE
說起加拿大的路，好像沒看到警察SET POST 捉快車? 這倒是方便得多，因為趕路的關係，三車差不多全程OVERSPEED，65mph(~100km/h)的speed limit，我們都7x, 8x mph，90也有。在美國，真的要常常打醒12分精神，加拿大，似乎不用。

長途車
這算是我摷車最長的一次，腳不離油，如不是跟車的話，用車子的自動控速會舒服得多。我們酒店在MONTREAL ，去OLD QUEBEC 那邊要來回兩次，又多了成千里路。跑了這程TRIP，CAMRY 的里數又多了二千幾三千里，聽說跑完長途，車會順D? 希望會吧~


車子不夠力
有一次我跟在二車之後，前車cut 左，我想跟著cut，cut前看一下左鏡，一輛黑色pick-up truck 在左後方，但我應該夠位入，立刻加油，pick up truck 似乎不讓，我下至3波，加油5千轉，pick up truck 還在追上，我火惱外，只有心裡暗罵，父母親友在車上，我有苦叫不出，只有收油，被他先行，我跟尾....細看車尾....Chevrolet Silverado V8，唉~CAMRY 2400cc vvt-i 直4 1XX 對V8 3XX馬力，我只有吃塵的份.....
我要歐洲車/EVO!!!!
PS. 北上看到幾多名車，林寶，C63，M3，EVO X，GOLF GTI，TT，etc...

雖然坐車多過睇野，但我覺得也有它的好處，至少我知道Toronto 跟Montreal 差幾遠，Toronto 的廣東菜不錯，旅行團只去景點，其他野完全唔知~當然摷車.....累得多~
